Tiiny Host free plan and pricing in 2026: limits and what you pay

Quick answer

Yes. Tiiny Host's help center, in an article updated October 23, 2026, says “The free plan hosts one project and needs no payment details”: up to 3 MB (0.5 MB for a PDF) and 5,000 visits a month, with a branding bar. Tiny, $9 a month, removes the bar. Custom domains start on Solo, $18 a month.

On this page

Yes. Tiiny Host's help center, in What is Tiiny Host? (updated October 23, 2026), says “The free plan hosts one project and needs no payment details.” Free allows 1 active project of up to 3 MB, or 0.5 MB for a PDF, 3 uploads a day, and 5,000 visits and 5 GB of bandwidth a month, and it shows a Tiiny Host branding bar on the project. The cheapest paid plan is Tiny, at $9 a month or $60 a year: it removes the bar and adds built-in analytics, but still allows 1 project and no custom domain. Custom domains and password protection start on Solo, at $18 a month or $156 a year.

Tiiny Host's pricing page, its help center, and its Terms of Service were read on November 4, 2026, from 07:37 to 07:48 JST (22:37 to 22:48 UTC on November 3). Each help article carries its own “Updated on” date, listed in the Sources at the end of this page; the pricing page has none, and the terms were last revised on April 11, 2022. Prices are in US dollars, and Tiiny Host says you “may see localized pricing at checkout.” Plans change, so check Tiiny Host's pages before you pay.

This page covers Tiiny Host's own plans. Tiiny Host alternatives compares it with 8 other hosts on what each gives for free.

The short answer

  • Free: 1 live project, 3 MB, 5,000 visits a month, the Tiiny Host branding bar, no analytics dashboard, no custom domain, and no password.
  • The free trial: “Sometimes.” Tiiny Host gives a 7-day free trial of Solo or Pro to some accounts, with a card, and not to everyone.
  • The first paid plan: Tiiny Host's Tiny, $9 a month or $5 a month billed yearly, removes the bar. Your own domain starts on Solo.
  • The link: a free project stays online with no end date while you log in at least once every 3 months.

Pro Max, at $89 a month or $888 a year ($74 a month), is for large files: unlimited active projects and up to 2 TB of uploads across the account. The pricing page shows yearly prices first, under a toggle labeled “2 months free.” Every plan has a 7-day money-back guarantee: “If you upgrade and decide within 7 days that it isn't for you, you can have a full refund for any reason,” per Tiiny Host's refunds article, updated November 2, 2026.

An upload counts each time you publish, update, replace a file, or paste HTML, so on Free a new project and 2 updates use the day's 3; the count “resets at midnight UTC.” Tiiny Host's limits article doesn't say what visitors see when a free project passes 5,000 visits or 5 GB in a month. It says only “Upgrading raises all five limits.”

Case by case: what Tiiny Host Free covers

The table applies Tiiny Host's help center and terms to what people ask about the free plan. A row reads Yes where Tiiny Host's pages allow it on Free, No where they say it takes a paid plan or isn't allowed, and “Tiiny Host doesn't say” where its pages don't settle the case. Every source was read on November 4, 2026.

Is there a Tiiny Host free trial?

Sometimes. Tiiny Host's free trial article, updated October 13, 2026, says “We offer free trials to some accounts rather than everyone. If one's available to you, you'll see a pop-up and a banner in your dashboard when you log in.”

  • What it is. “A trial lasts 7 days and is for the Solo or Pro plan.” You enter your card details to start it, and you aren't charged until it ends.
  • Who gets one. “You can have one free trial per email address. The Pro trial needs a work email address.”
  • What it leaves out. A trial has the plan's limits and features, “with one exception: custom domains aren't available during a trial.” A trial can't buy a domain either.
  • When it ends. “A trial converts to a paid subscription automatically unless you cancel before it ends.” Cancel under Manage Account, or at tiiny.host/manage/subscription/cancel. Cancelling moves you to the Free plan, and projects the Free plan doesn't support are archived.

The money-back guarantee still applies after a trial: its 7 days “count from when your trial ended and your first payment was taken.”

The banner. Every free project shows a Tiiny Host branding bar. Its help article says “Subscribing to any paid plan removes it. There's no other way to switch it off.” Upgrading straight to a paid plan removes the bar from existing projects. A free trial doesn't: “Projects you published before the trial keep the bar until you update them,” per banner still showing.

The logo. The icon in the browser tab is Tiiny Host's until you change it. Tiiny Host's logo article says “By default it's the Tiiny Host icon.” To use yours, click Update on the project, then Customize Project, and upload an image under Logo: a JPG, PNG, GIF, WebP, or ICO file of 64 × 64 pixels or smaller. In a zip, a favicon.ico file is picked up by itself. The article names no plan for it.

PDFs, ZIPs, and other files

Tiiny Host takes more than web pages. Its file formats article lists HTML, CSS, and JavaScript files, documents such as PDF, DOCX, PPTX, and XLSX, audio, and images, each “individually or in a zip file.” A static site goes up as a zip; if the zip has several HTML files and none is named index.html, Tiiny Host asks which one is the homepage.

  • PDFs on Free. Free caps a PDF at 0.5 MB. “If your PDF is over that, it'll publish as a temporary preview link that comes down after an hour,” per How to share a PDF as a link. Tiny takes 25 MB per project.
  • Login or redirect pages. “Free accounts can't host a page with a password input field, or a script that redirects visitors to another page,” per the preview article. Such a page publishes as a 1-hour preview until you upgrade.
  • Forms. Tiiny Host has no form of its own: its forms article says static sites “cannot process form submissions on their own” and gives code for FormSubmit, which emails each submission to you.
  • PHP. “Yes, on the Tiny plan and above,” per the PHP article.

Tiiny Host doesn't host WordPress or other CMS sites, databases, traditional shopping carts, .htaccess files, or a project at a path such as yourdomain.com/blog.

Custom domains on Tiiny Host

Your own domain starts on Solo. “Custom domains are available on the Solo plan and above. Solo includes up to 5 domains, and Pro and Pro Max include up to 15,” per How to connect a domain you already own. Tiiny Host adds the DNS records for you through a service called Entri, or shows them for you to add by hand.

You can also buy a domain through Tiiny Host on Solo and above, “only if you pay by card,” and “Domain purchases are non-refundable,” per How to buy a domain through Tiiny Host. A project can sit at www or a subdomain such as blog.yourdomain.com, but not under a path. If you move from Solo down to Tiny, “projects published on a custom domain are archived,” per Publishing to your custom domain.

With no end date, if you keep signing in. Tiiny Host's free plan links article says “Indefinitely, as long as your account stays active. We don't take links down after a set period.” The condition: “Free accounts need to be logged into at least once every three months. If an account sits unused for longer than that, we may remove it along with its projects and links.” Signing in is enough; you don't have to upload anything.

The terms give a longer window: they let Tiiny Host suspend or close an account that isn't logged into at least once every 6 months. The help center's 3 months is the rule to follow. Preview links are different: they “come down after an hour regardless of how often you log in.”

A paid plan works the other way round when it ends. “When your paid plan ends, your projects are permanently removed,” and “There's no direct downgrade from a paid plan to the free plan,” per How to switch to a free account. Download your files before the billing period ends, then sign up again for Free and upload them.

Can you use Tiiny Host's free plan for a business?

Tiiny Host doesn't say. Its Terms of Service, last revised April 11, 2022, name no plan and put no limit on commercial use. They require users to be “at least eighteen (18) years of age,” and the help center's prohibited content list, updated September 3, 2026, bans “Counterfeit goods,” “Unauthorised ticket reselling,” “Pyramid schemes or fraud,” and “Unlicensed gambling” on every plan.

For a shop, Tiiny Host's e-commerce article says “Static shop fronts work. Traditional CMS carts don't.” The open question is the free plan's own rules: “Some content is restricted on the free plan but fine on a paid plan,” per its free-plan content article, which doesn't list what. A business page on Free also carries the Tiiny Host branding bar and a tiiny.site address.

Tiiny Host vs Netlify Drop

Netlify Drop is the other drag-and-drop host people weigh Tiiny Host against. Netlify's pricing page, read on November 4, 2026, lists Free at “$0 forever” with a “300 credit limit / month” and “Custom domains with SSL,” and Netlify Drop takes “a folder, zip file, or single HTML file” with “no account required.” So the free custom domain is Netlify's, and the plan that counts visits instead of credits is Tiiny Host's. The Tiiny Host vs Netlify Drop table puts the two side by side, and Is Netlify free? counts what 300 credits cover.

If your site is one HTML page

Convika hosts landing pages, one HTML page each, and keeps what happens on them. It takes one .html or .htm file of up to 2 MB, or pasted code; a PDF, a zip, or a folder of files doesn't go up as it is. For a page made with ChatGPT, Claude, or Gemini, Free differs from Tiiny Host's Free in 5 ways.

  • The form keeps the entries. Click Add a form to my page, and Convika adds a form that stores each entry, emails it to you, and exports to CSV. Free shows 50 entries a month and keeps later ones for Pro.
  • Visitor stats on Free. You get 90 days of visits, referrers, UTM campaigns, devices, countries, and button clicks.
  • Your own subdomain on Free. Connect 1 custom subdomain, such as www.yourbrand.com, with the SSL certificate issued for you.
  • No sign-in rule. A published page keeps its address until you unpublish it, with no expiry date and no rule about how often you sign in.
  • Commercial use is allowed on every plan. Section 7 of the terms allows it on Free too, including a client's page you build, host, and bill for.

Free includes 1 published page and 10,000 page views a month, with a small Convika bar at the bottom. Once your pages reach 10,000 page views in a month, editing and analytics pause, and 7 days later the pages stop until the month ends or you upgrade. Pro removes the bar, shows every form entry, and puts a password on any page you choose. Pro costs $12 a month.

Where Tiiny Host fits better: PDFs, documents, and images, a zip with many files, and PHP on its paid plans. Convika hosts each page as one HTML file at its own path, images go in by full https:// link, and custom domains are subdomains such as www.

Drop the .html file right below or paste its code to see your page on Convika before signing up. You get a private preview link that works for 3 minutes, with the page's scripts and forms off until you keep it with a free account. The same box is on the free HTML publishing tool.

Frequently asked questions

Is Tiiny Host free?

Yes. Tiiny Host's help center says “The free plan hosts one project and needs no payment details.” Free allows 1 active project of up to 3 MB, or 0.5 MB for a PDF, and 5,000 visits and 5 GB of bandwidth a month, with a Tiiny Host branding bar. A custom domain, a password, and the analytics dashboard need a paid plan.

Does Tiiny Host have a free trial?

Sometimes. Tiiny Host offers a 7-day free trial of Solo or Pro to some accounts, not to everyone, and shows a pop-up in the dashboard when one is available. It needs a card, one trial per email address, and a work email address for Pro. It turns into a paid subscription unless you cancel before it ends, and custom domains aren't available during it.

How much does Tiiny Host cost?

Tiiny Host's paid plans are Tiny at $9 a month, Solo at $18, Pro at $38, and Pro Max at $89, in US dollars. Billed yearly, they come to $60, $156, $372, and $888 a year, or $5, $13, $31, and $74 a month. Every plan has a 7-day money-back guarantee.

How do I remove the Tiiny Host banner?

Subscribe to any paid plan, starting with Tiny at $9 a month. Tiiny Host's help says “There's no other way to switch it off.” Upgrading removes the bar from existing projects. If you started with a free trial, projects you published before it keep the bar until you update them.

A free Tiiny Host link has no end date. Tiiny Host's help says links stay online “Indefinitely, as long as your account stays active,” and a free account needs a login at least once every 3 months. An account left unused for longer may be removed with its projects. A preview link comes down after an hour.

Can I upload a PDF to Tiiny Host for free?

Yes, a PDF of up to 0.5 MB. A larger PDF publishes as a temporary preview link that comes down after an hour. Tiny takes PDFs of up to 25 MB, and a password or blocked downloads start on Solo.

Can I use my own domain on Tiiny Host's free plan?

No. Tiiny Host's help says “Custom domains are available on the Solo plan and above,” at $18 a month or $156 a year. Solo connects up to 5 domains, and Pro and Pro Max up to 15. A free trial can't connect or buy one.

Does Tiiny Host give refunds?

Yes, within 7 days of upgrading. Tiiny Host's refunds article says “you can have a full refund for any reason” in that time, requested at tiiny.host/manage/refund. After a free trial, the 7 days start with the first payment. Domains bought through Tiiny Host are non-refundable.

What happens to my projects if I cancel Tiiny Host?

They stay live until the end of the billing period you paid for, then Tiiny Host removes them. There's no direct move from a paid plan to Free: you cancel, wait for the period to end, sign up again for a free account, and upload your files again. Tiiny Host keeps backups for 60 days and can usually restore projects for accounts that were on a paid plan. Cancelling a free trial is different: per Tiiny Host's cancel article, updated October 23, 2026, “You move to the Free plan and paid features stop working, even if you have trial days left. Projects the Free plan doesn't support are archived.”

Are there free sites like Tiiny Host?

Yes. Netlify Drop, Cloudflare Pages, GitHub Pages, and Neocities host static files on free plans, each with its own limits. Tiiny Host alternatives compares 8 of them on free pages, custom domains, forms, and stats. For one HTML page with a form that keeps entries, Convika's Free plan also connects 1 custom subdomain.
