Tiiny Host alternatives: 7 ways to host a single HTML file

Short answer

For a single HTML file, Netlify Drop is the quickest free option: drop the file on a web page and get a URL. Tiiny Host's free plan allows 1 project up to 3 MB and 5,000 visits a month with a banner, and custom domains start at $18 a month. If the page needs a form that keeps entries and visitor stats on your own domain for free, Convika's Free plan includes both, with 50 form entries a month and a small badge.

Free plan: no credit card, 10 pages, 50 form entries a month.

Tiiny Host made it simple to drag in an HTML file and get a link. Its free plan has 3 limits you notice quickly: 1 project at a time, a Tiiny Host banner on your page, and no custom domain until $18 a month. This page compares 7 ways to put a single HTML file online, including Tiiny Host itself, on the free plan first and then the cheapest upgrade.

Prices and limits come from each vendor's own pricing pages and docs, checked on October 4, 2026. Prices are monthly unless marked yearly. Free plans change often, so confirm before you launch.

Each option in a paragraph

Tiiny Host

Tiiny Host takes an HTML file, a zip, or a PDF and gives it a link. The free plan allows 1 active project, a 3 MB upload (0.5 MB for PDFs), 5,000 visits and 5 GB of bandwidth a month, and shows a Tiiny Host banner. Its FAQ says free links stay online “as long as you log into your account once every 3 months.” Analytics and banner removal start on Tiny at $9 a month, custom domains and password protection on Solo at $18, and email capture on Pro at $38. Yearly billing takes those to $5, $13, and $31 a month.

Better than the others at: PDFs, zip files, and large uploads on paid plans, plus password protection from Solo.

Netlify Drop

Netlify Drop takes “a folder, zip file, or single HTML file” and publishes it. The Free plan includes custom domains and Netlify Forms, which the docs call “free and unlimited for all credit-based plans.” To use them, select Enable form detection under Forms, add data-netlify="true" to your form, and then drop the folder again, because detection starts with the next deploy. The limit is a budget of 300 credits a month: a production deploy costs 15, bandwidth costs 20 per GB, and once the credits are gone, “all of your web projects (sites/apps) are paused.” Netlify's dashboard shows server request logs for the past 24 hours on Free, not visitor analytics.

Better than the others at: unlimited free form submissions and drag-and-drop speed.

Vercel Drop

Vercel launched Drop on June 12, 2026: drag a file, folder, or zip into the browser, pick a team and project name, and it goes to production. The Hobby plan is free, allows 50 custom domains per project, and counts 50,000 Web Analytics events a month. Vercel's fair use guidelines restrict Hobby to “non-commercial personal use only” and list “advertising the sale of a product or service” as commercial. A page that sells something needs Pro at $20 a month.

Better than the others at: pages that grow into a Next.js or other framework project.

GitHub Pages

GitHub Pages publishes files from a repository, free, with a custom domain. On GitHub Free the repository must be public, so anyone can read your HTML. Sites can be up to 1 GB with a soft limit of 100 GB of bandwidth a month. GitHub's usage limits say Pages is not for running “your online business, e-commerce site, or any other website that is primarily directed at either facilitating commercial transactions or providing commercial software as a service (SaaS).” It has no forms or analytics.

Better than the others at: version history through Git and free hosting for open projects.

Cloudflare Pages

Cloudflare serves static files free with unlimited requests and allows up to 100 custom domains per project. Direct upload takes “a zip file or single folder of assets,” up to 1,000 files of 25 MiB each, so put your HTML file in a folder first. Web Analytics is free; turn it on under the project's Metrics tab. There's no built-in form: the Static Forms plugin passes submissions to code you write. Cloudflare's Pages docs now say “Start new projects with Workers.”

Better than the others at: traffic. No other free plan here has unlimited requests.

Static.app

Static.app has no free plan, only a 7-day trial with no card: 1 site and 50 MB on a free subdomain. Starter costs $6 a month, or $5 a month billed yearly, for 2 sites, 500 MB, custom domains, forms, and website analytics.

Better than the others at: low-cost paid hosting with forms and analytics included from the first tier.

Convika

Convika hosts landing pages and keeps what happens on them. Upload an HTML file of up to 2 MB in the dashboard, or have Claude, Claude Code, or Codex save the page through Convika's MCP server; Convika shows a private preview, then publishes. Each page gets visitor analytics (visits, traffic sources and UTM tags, devices, countries, and button clicks), and Add a form to my page creates a form that stores entries with CSV export. The Free plan includes 10 pages, 10,000 pageviews a month, 50 form entries a month, and 1 custom subdomain, and shows a small “Powered by Convika” badge. Past 10,000 pageviews the page stays online, but stats stop until the next month and a traffic-limit notice appears at the bottom of the page. Pro costs $12 a month after a 14-day free trial, or $108 a year.

Weaker than the others at: files other than HTML. Convika hosts a single HTML document per page, so images, PDFs, and extra pages need to live somewhere else. Custom domains must be subdomains like www. Scripts in the HTML run on every plan, but analytics and heatmap tools (Google Analytics, Clarity, Hotjar, Plausible, PostHog, and Mixpanel) send data only on Pro and above; on Free their requests are blocked. Other requests to other websites are blocked on any plan.

Which one to pick

  • You need a link in the next minute: Netlify Drop.
  • You're sharing a PDF, a zip, or a portfolio file, not a landing page: Tiiny Host.
  • You expect a lot of traffic and will add your own form service: Cloudflare Pages.
  • It's a personal, non-commercial page: GitHub Pages or Vercel Hobby.
  • The page has to collect signups or inquiries on your own domain, and you want to see which links bring them, for free: Convika's Free plan, then Pro at $12 a month past 50 entries a month.

Frequently asked questions

What is the best free alternative to Tiiny Host?

It depends on what the page has to do. Netlify Drop is the closest match for drag-and-drop speed and adds free form submissions, but its sites pause when the monthly credits run out. Cloudflare Pages has no traffic limit for static files. Convika includes a form that keeps entries and visitor analytics on your own subdomain, with a small badge.

Can I host a single HTML file for free with my own domain?

Yes. Netlify, Cloudflare Pages, GitHub Pages, Vercel Hobby, and Convika allow a custom domain on their free plans; Convika allows 1 subdomain, such as www.yourbrand.com. Tiiny Host starts custom domains at $18 a month, and Static.app has no free plan after its 7-day trial.

Which free host stores contact form submissions?

Of these 7, Netlify (unlimited, on its credit-based plans) and Convika (50 entries a month) store form entries on the free plan without another service. Tiiny Host has email capture on its $38 Pro plan, and Static.app includes forms from its $6 Starter plan.

Tiiny Host's FAQ says free links stay online indefinitely as long as you log into your account once every 3 months.

Is Static.app still free?

No. Static.app offers a 7-day trial with no card. Keeping a site online after that needs a paid plan, starting with Starter at $6 a month, or $5 a month billed yearly.

How do I host an HTML file that ChatGPT or Gemini made?

Download the file or copy the code, then upload it to one of these hosts. On Convika, click Upload an HTML file in the dashboard, check the preview, and publish. On ChatGPT Plus or Pro, ChatGPT Sites can also build and host the page from the chat; it isn't available on ChatGPT Free or Go. The steps are in how to put a ChatGPT HTML page online and how to publish a Gemini Canvas page.

Host the file with the form and stats included

Upload your HTML file. Convika puts it on your domain, keeps the form entries, and shows where visitors came from.

Free plan: no credit card, 10 pages, 50 form entries a month.
