Convika documentation
Convika turns HTML files and landing pages made with ChatGPT, Claude, or Gemini into public links. Upload your file, build it in the dashboard, or save it directly from an MCP client like Claude or Codex. Pages live on a convika.page address or your own domain, with visitor stats and forms for sign-ups. Anyone opens the link on their phone with no account.

Quick answers about Convika
Is Convika free?
Yes. As of October 25, 2026, a new account on Free costs $0, needs no credit card, and publishes 1 page at a time. Pro costs $12 a month and removes the Convika bar from the bottom of your pages.
What are the Free plan's limits?
As of October 25, 2026, a new Free account publishes 1 page at a time and keeps up to 10 pages with drafts, with 10,000 page views a month across all pages, 50 form entries shown a month, and 1 custom domain. When a month's page views reach the limit, editing and analytics pause, and 7 days later the pages stop, until the month ends (UTC) or you pay for a plan.
Can I use Convika for a business or commercial site?
Yes, on every plan, Free included. As of October 25, 2026, section 7 of Convika's Terms of Service says: “You may use the Service for commercial purposes on every plan, including the Free plan.” You may build pages for clients and charge for the work; what the terms forbid is reselling Convika itself.
What does Made for you cost, and what do I get?
Made for you costs $199, paid once, and only if you approve the preview. As of October 25, 2026, you get a private preview of a landing page with a working form within 2 days, up to 2 rounds of changes before you pay, and 12 months of Pro with no renewal. Convika publishes it within 2 days of payment, or refunds you in full.
Which AI tools does Convika work with?
Any AI that gives you an HTML file. As of October 25, 2026, HTML from ChatGPT, Gemini, or another AI becomes a page when you upload it to convika.com (up to 2 MB), and Claude, Claude Code, and Codex connect to Convika's MCP server at https://mcp.convika.com to save and publish pages for you. ChatGPT connects over MCP only in Developer mode.
Create a page with AI in the dashboard
Convika's built-in AI writes the page, and you choose the model. You do not need an AI client.
- 1
Open the generator
Go to the sidebar and click "Create with AI". Under "What do you want to make?", choose "Landing page (from a URL or a description)" for a product or service page, or "From a description" or a template for anything else.
- 2
Add your source
Enter a URL (product site, GitHub repo, or App Store listing), describe your page, or provide both for the most accurate draft. Click "Add optional details" to set your audience, main button, and language.
- 3
Choose your model
Each model displays its credit cost, and you see your balance before you begin. The default model is DeepSeek V4.1 Flash, which costs 1 credit for a new page.
- 4
Generate the page
Click "Create my landing page" (or "Make my page" when you started from a description) to see a preview, usually in under 1 minute. The build continues if you close the tab, and your credits return if it fails.
- 5
Edit your draft
Write changes in "What to change on this page", or click "Edit with AI" on the page screen later. Each change produces a new preview and costs 1 credit on the default model.
- 6
Publish your page
Click "Publish" to take the page live. Publishing costs 0 credits.
Upload an HTML file
Take an .html file from ChatGPT, Claude, Gemini, or anyone else, and publish it as is.
- 1
Open the upload screen
Go to the "Sites" screen and select "Upload an HTML file". You can also go to app.convika.com/upload-html.
- 2
Add your HTML and name the page
Choose an .html or .htm file up to 2 MB, or select "Paste code" to paste the whole HTML. Enter a name for the page.
- 3
Create your preview
Select "Create my preview" to save a private preview. If your HTML points to files on your computer like images, the screen lists them because they will not load online.
- 4
Check and publish
Open your preview and review the page. When you are ready, select "Publish".
Connect an AI client over MCP
Connect Claude, Claude Code, Codex, or another MCP client. Your client can create, publish, and measure pages just like the dashboard. Point it to https://mcp.convika.com and sign in with your Convika account.
Claude (web and desktop)
- 1Open your settings, select "Customize", and click "Connectors".
- 2Click "+" and select "Add custom connector".
- 3Enter the server address:
https://mcp.convika.com - 4Sign in to Convika when prompted.
- 5Start a new chat and ask Claude to build your page in Convika. It will save the HTML to Convika and give you a private preview link (the page stays private until you ask to publish it, and saving over MCP uses no AI credits). If Claude does not use the Convika tools, click "+" in the chat input, open "Connectors", and make sure Convika is turned on.
Make me a landing page for my café opening and save it to Convika. - 6On a Team or Enterprise plan, an organization owner must add it first under "Organization settings" and "Connectors".

ChatGPT
- 1On any plan, ask ChatGPT for your page as a single HTML file, download it, and upload it in the dashboard under Upload an HTML file, above.
- 2To connect over MCP, you need Developer mode because Convika is not in ChatGPT's plugin directory yet. This mode is not available on every account or workspace. Go to "Settings", open "Security and login", and switch "Developer mode" on.
- 3Add a plugin using the server address:
https://mcp.convika.com - 4Sign in when asked. If this option is not working on your account, upload the HTML file instead.
- 5Start a new chat and ask ChatGPT to build your page in Convika. It will save the HTML to Convika and give you a private preview link (the page stays private until you ask to publish it, and saving over MCP uses no AI credits).

Codex
- 1Add Convika using this command:
codex mcp add convika --url https://mcp.convika.com - 2Sign in. This command opens the Convika sign-in page:
codex mcp login convika - 3Start Codex, type /mcp, and check that convika is connected.
- 4Ask Codex to build your page and save it to Convika. When prompted for your first time, complete the Convika sign-in in your browser. Codex will save the HTML to Convika and give you a private preview link (the page stays private until you ask to publish it, and saving over MCP uses no AI credits).

Other MCP clients
- 1In your client settings, add a remote MCP server with this address:
https://mcp.convika.com - 2If prompted for a transport type, select Streamable HTTP. Convika uses OAuth sign-in and does not require an API key.
- 3Complete your sign-in on the Convika sign-in page.
- 4Ask your AI client to build your page and save it to Convika. It will save the HTML to Convika and give you a private preview link (the page stays private until you ask to publish it, and saving over MCP uses no AI credits).

MCP tool reference
Convika provides an MCP server with 37 tools. Your AI client picks the tool from what you ask, so you do not need to know tool names. New pages and changes always go to a private preview first. The publish_site tool goes live only when the call sets confirmProduction, and AI clients are told to set it only when you ask to publish.

Preview, publish, and roll back
Nothing goes live until you publish.
Preview
Each new page or edit saves as a version with a private preview link. These links carry a token and expire. They count toward neither analytics nor your pageview limit.
Publish
Click "Publish" on the page's screen, or ask your AI client. Your page goes live on Cloudflare's network at its convika.page address or your custom domain.
Roll back
Open your publish history and click "Roll back to this version". The live page switches right away. Per page, Free keeps the last 10 versions, and Pro keeps 50.
Unpublish
Click "Unpublish" to take your page offline. Your versions stay in place so you can publish again anytime.
Password
On Pro, go to the page's "Page settings", select "Page password", enter your password, and click "Add password". Use 8 to 128 characters, with letters A–Z, numbers, symbols, and spaces. Visitors see a password screen first on your convika.page address and custom domain. The right password opens the page on that browser for 7 days without asking again. Back on Free, the lock stays active until you click "Remove password", and changing it requires Pro. Preview links do not ask for a password, and they expire.
Forms
Collect emails and messages on the page itself. Convika stores every entry.
- 1
Add a form
On your page's screen, select "Add a form to my page". Choose your fields: "Email only", "Name and email", or "Name, email, and message". You can edit the labels and the button text.
- 2
Check the preview
Select "Add form to my page". The form sits near the end of the page in a new preview version. Send a test entry to check it. Entries from a preview are not saved.
- 3
Publish and collect entries
Publish your page. Convika emails each new entry to the account owner and lists it under "Forms" in the dashboard. Download entries with "Download CSV" or "Download JSON". To notify teammates, set "Form entry emails" in "Settings". To connect your own tools, turn on "Send each entry to a URL" on the form's entries page. Convika signs each request with an HMAC-SHA256 Convika-Signature header.
From an AI client, create_form makes the form, save_page_content puts it in the page, and get_form_submissions reads the entries.
Custom domains
Serve your page from your own subdomain, like www.example.com or launch.example.com. Every plan includes subdomains: Free includes 1, and Pro has no limit.
- 1
Add your subdomain
On your page's screen, click "Domains", click "Manage domains", and click "Add domain". You can also ask your AI client. Enter a subdomain such as www.example.com. The automatic setup does not support a root domain like example.com.
- 2
Add 2 DNS records
Create a CNAME record that points your subdomain to Convika. Create a TXT record that proves you own the domain. If your DNS is on Cloudflare, set the CNAME to DNS only (grey cloud).
- 3
Wait for the domain to go active
Your records spread across the web in minutes, or up to 48 hours. Your subdomain turns active. Convika issues the SSL certificate automatically, so you configure nothing by hand.
Analytics
A published page records visits and clicks. You have no tag to install.
Pageviews and visitors
See daily pageviews and unique visitors tracked with an anonymized identifier.
Traffic sources
View referrers alongside UTM source, medium, and campaign data. Track form entries and clicks per UTM value. Tag a link with ?utm_source=newsletter, or &utm_source=newsletter if the link contains a ?. Run analyze_source_quality from an MCP client to see entries and clicks per referrer.
Button clicks
See click counts for each button and link.
Form entries and goals
Count form entries and monitor the conversion rate of goals you set.
Devices and countries
See desktop, mobile, or tablet visits, along with visitors' countries.
Period comparisons
Compare each number against the previous period to see the change in %.
Free covers the last 7, 30, or 90 days. Pro covers 180 days, 365 days and all time.

Frequently asked questions
Do I need an AI client or MCP to use Convika?
No. You can create a page with the dashboard AI or upload an HTML file, then publish it in your browser. You only need MCP if you want Claude, Claude Code, Codex, or another AI client to handle those steps from your chat window.
What is MCP?
Model Context Protocol is an open standard that lets AI clients like Claude, Claude Code, and Codex use outside services. Convika runs an MCP server so your AI client can save, preview, publish, and measure pages.
Do I need to know how to code?
No. The dashboard AI or your AI client writes the HTML. You describe your page, inspect the preview, and click "Publish".
Does Convika have a drag-and-drop editor?
No. Tell the AI what you want to change using "Edit with AI" or type your changes into your AI client. Convika generates a new preview version. You can publish it or roll back to an earlier version.
Can I connect my own domain?
Yes. Every plan supports custom domains. Enter a subdomain like www.example.com or launch.example.com, then add the 2 DNS records Convika shows on screen. SSL is automatic. The Free plan includes 1, and Pro has no limit.
How many pages can I publish?
Free publishes 1 at a time and keeps up to 10 with drafts. Pro includes 50, and MAX includes 100. A Free workspace made before October 23, 2026 (Japan time) keeps publishing up to 10.
How do AI credits work?
You spend credits when the dashboard AI generates or updates a page. The cost depends on the model you select. The default model costs 1 credit per new page, while models like Claude Opus 5.5 cost more. Free accounts start with 10. Pro adds +50 a month, and MAX adds +300. Credit packs start at $10 for 100. Uploading an HTML file or saving a page from an AI client costs 0 credits.
Can I choose which AI model writes my page?
Yes. You can select DeepSeek V4.1 Flash (the default), GPT-6 Luna, Gemini 3.8 Flash, GLM 5.3, Claude Sonnet 5, GPT-6 Sol, Kimi K3, Claude Opus 5.5, Claude Fable 5.1, or Fugu Ultra v2, which sends your brief to several models and merges the results. Every plan has access to every model. Your credit balance is the only limit.
Can I protect a page with a password?
Yes. Page passwords are included on Pro ($12 a month). Visitors see a password screen, and Convika delivers the page only after they enter the correct password. Turn it on in "Page settings" under "Page password".
What happens if I cancel Pro?
You keep Pro features until the end of your billing period, or until the end of the free trial if you cancel during it. After that, your workspace moves to the Free plan, with its 10,000 page views a month. For Pro started at or after midnight (00:00) Japan time on October 24, 2026 (the 1-year pass included): pages on a private link or with a password go offline, and are never made public. In a workspace created on or after October 23, 2026 (Japan time), Free publishes 1 page at a time, so other live pages go back to drafts, except the one you published last. Nothing is deleted: choose Pro again, or publish a page as Public within what Free allows. For Pro started before then, your pages stay published as they are, and a password stays on its page (you can remove it on Free; changing it needs Pro).
Put your HTML page online
Upload your file, check the private preview, and publish. Anyone can open your link in a phone browser with no account, and sign-ups or form answers stay in one list.
