Manus website hosting: is it free, and how to publish your site
Quick answer
Yes, on manus.space: Manus says those sites “can remain online without an active Manus subscription,” on a free allowance of $10 of cloud, $1 of AI and $1 of API a month. Manus doesn't say if its Free plan can publish; its pricing lists “Professional Website Deployment” under Pro. A custom domain needs a paid plan.
Free plan: no credit card, 1 published page, 10,000 page views a month.

Yes, on a manus.space address. Manus's help article How does WebDev billing work?, updated September 18, 2026, says “Websites published on a Manus-provided domain (manus.space) can remain online without an active Manus subscription.” Their running costs “continue to use the available free WebDev allowance or WebDev usage balance,” and “If the available balance is exhausted, you'll need to top up your WebDev usage balance to keep the website running.” Which plans can publish a site, Manus doesn't say: its membership pricing article, updated October 23, 2026 and read on November 3, 2026, lists “Professional Website Deployment” under Pro and no website feature under Free. Your own domain is different: “Websites connected to a custom domain require an active Manus subscription. If your subscription ends, the custom-domain website will go offline.”
3 more facts decide what a Manus site costs you:
- Hosting doesn't use credits. Manus's credits article, updated November 2, 2026, says “Completed tasks and the storage or deployment of their outputs do not consume any credits.” Credits pay for building and editing.
- Every Manus account gets a free monthly allowance. Manus's Usage and Pricing doc lists $10 for cloud, $1 for AI features, and $1 for API calls, reset each billing cycle.
- You can take the code. Manus's Code Control doc says “you can download the entire codebase for your application at any time,” to host it “on any server or platform of your choice.”
Manus's help center, docs, pricing page, and blog were read on November 3, 2026, from 10:07 to 10:13 JST (01:07 to 01:13 UTC), and its Make a Copy doc and the pricing article's screenshots from 12:42 to 12:47 JST; each one's own date is in the sources. Nothing here comes from a signed-in Manus session, so the page says only what those pages say. Manus's own rule for prices: “Everything is subject to what is displayed on the actual pricing page.”
What Manus builds and where it puts the site
Manus builds a site from a description. Its web app page says “Build anything — Landing pages, SaaS dashboards, or full web apps with logins and databases,” and its templates include a photographer portfolio, a podcast website, a clinic website, online booking, a merch store, and a sales CRM. Its Publishing doc has one step: “Click Publish and you will be able to access your website.” By default, the site then “runs on Google Cloud Run,” with 1 vCPU and 512 MB per instance, 0 to 5 instances, cold starts, and the US region.
Where the site lives decides how long it stays up:
| Address | What Manus says | Plan |
|---|---|---|
A manus.computer link | “Temporary links in the sandbox are for testing purposes only and will become unavailable during the hibernation period” (help) | Manus doesn't say; it points to “the permanent deployment feature” |
| The default manus.space address | Stays up “without an active Manus subscription,” on the free allowance or the usage balance | Manus doesn't say which plans can publish |
| A manus.space subdomain you pick | “We allow paid users to modify the subdomain of their deployed websites” (help) | Paid plans |
| Your own domain | “Websites connected to a custom domain require an active Manus subscription” | Paid plans |
A published site carries a “Made with Manus” badge. Manus's badge article, updated September 3, 2026, hides it: click the website preview, click the Settings icon, scroll to Advanced, and turn on Hide Manus badge. Manus doesn't say which plans have that switch. For changes after a site is live, Manus's help says it “now supports Pro users to edit permanently deployed websites.”
What Manus costs: credits to build, a usage balance to host
Manus bills a site in 2 parts. Its Usage and Pricing doc: “Building and editing your website is charged using the existing credit-based system,” and “A separate, usage-based system applies to hosting your website and powering experiences for your users.”
The plans buy credits. Manus's membership pricing article, updated October 23, 2026, and its pricing page, with monthly billing:
| Manus plan | Price | Credits | Websites, in Manus's words |
|---|---|---|---|
| Manus Free | $0 a month | 300 credits a day, used up to 1,500 a month; “Daily credits can only be used for Manus 2.0 lite” (credits) | Not listed |
| Manus Pro | $20 a month | 4,000 a month, plus 300 a day | “Professional websites for standard output” |
| Manus Pro, $40 card | From $40 a month, “with 7-day free trial” | From 8,000 a month, chosen on the card, plus 300 a day | “Professional websites for changing needs” |
| Manus Pro, $200 card | $200 a month | 40,000 a month, plus 300 a day | “Professional websites with data analytics” |
| Manus Team | From $20 per seat a month | Manus doesn't say on that page | “Includes all features of the Pro plan” |
Manus takes 17% off for annual billing, and its help says “The original Basic and Plus plans have both been renamed to Pro.” The public pricing page names none of the 3 cards; the screenshots in Manus's membership pricing article show all 3 in the app's “Upgrade to Manus Pro” dialog.
Hosting comes out of the usage balance, which starts with the free allowance:
| Manus usage | Free each month | What counts |
|---|---|---|
| Cloud | $10 | “backend services, database operations, and file storage associated with hosting your website” |
| AI | $1 | “LLM-powered features and image generation capabilities built into your website” |
| API | $1 | “external API calls made by your website” |
Manus's own estimates for a typical month:
| Manus's example site | Visits a month | Manus's estimated total |
|---|---|---|
| Creator landing page | 1k–5k | “Subscription only” (about $6 of cloud and $1 of AI) |
| Marketing site + lead capture | 10k–50k | “Subscription + $24” |
| Content + search (docs or knowledge base) | 50k–200k | “Subscription + $128” |
| E-commerce or marketplace | 100k–300k | “Subscription + $248” |
- 2 hosting modes. Manus's default Autoscale mode is “Billed per active request duration. $0 when idle.” Manus's Reserved mode keeps one instance running, “Up to ~$36/month at full utilization. Egress is charged.” You switch modes in the project settings.
- When the balance runs out. Manus's doc says “If your account does not have sufficient funds to cover your usage and auto top-up is not enabled, your website may become temporarily unavailable.” Top up, or turn on auto top-up, under Settings, Usage, Website usage & billing.
- Older sites. Since January 31, 2026, sites made before December 29, 2025 are billed by usage too: the same Manus doc says they stayed free until that date and then “automatically transition to the new usage-based pricing model.”
Custom domains on Manus
A custom domain is for paid plans. Manus's custom domain article, updated October 27, 2026: “At present, Manus is able to provide comprehensive support for custom domain connections if you are a paid user.” When Manus launched the feature, its December 8, 2025 post said “Custom Domains are rolling out today and are available to all users.” The help center has since tied it to a paid plan, and the billing article to an active subscription.
- Connect a domain you own. Tell Manus, in its docs' example, “Publish this site to my custom domain, www.example.com.” Manus gives you the DNS records to add at your registrar, usually “an A record or a CNAME record,” and sets up a free SSL certificate.
- Buy one in Manus. Search and buy inside the builder. Manus's help warns: “Please note that domain name purchases are non-refundable at the moment.”
- Move a domain you bought in Manus. Go to Settings, Data controls, Manage, open the domain, choose Transfer out from the ⋯ menu, and copy the authorization code for your new registrar. A new domain can't move for 60 days: “When you purchase a brand new domain, it is locked for 60 days,” per Manus's transfer lock article.

Why a Manus website stops working
Manus's WebDev usage errors article, updated September 30, 2026, names each message a visitor can see and its cause:
| What visitors see | The cause, in Manus's words | What to do |
|---|---|---|
| A banner: “This site may be paused or limited due to a billing issue. Site admins can restore access by updating billing in Manus.” | “the monthly AI/integrations allowance is used up and the top-up wallet is empty” | Top up under Website usage & billing, or turn on auto top-up |
| “Site unavailable due to unpaid billing, Contact owner to update billing in Manus to bring it back.” | “the monthly cloud hosting allowance is used up and the top-up wallet is empty” | The same |
| “This site has been blocked.” | “moderation takedown, or the owner's whole account is blocked.” Manus's automated checks “can sometimes result in a website being flagged by mistake” (blocked sites) | Contact support with your account's email and the site's full URL |
| “You don't have permission to view this page.” | “the site is set to private/team-only and the visitor is signed in with the wrong account” | Invite the visitor's Manus sign-in email, or set Visibility to “Anyone with the link” |
| “This page could not be found (404)” | “never published, custom domain not verified yet, or the project was deleted” | Publish, or finish the domain's DNS records |
A manus.computer link stopped opening | A temporary sandbox link, “for testing purposes only” | Publish the site with Manus's permanent deployment |
Manus also took some sites offline in August 2026. Its service change article for websites, updated August 25, 2026 and read at 10:08 JST on November 3, 2026, says that for the accounts its notice named, “Affected deployed websites and services that depend on Manus will be unavailable from 8:00 a.m. SGT on August 23 until you actively complete Task Data restoration.” Visitors saw “This site is under maintenance. We apologize for the inconvenience and appreciate your patience. Please check back later.” Manus's September 1, 2026 post says “Manus has formally resumed independent operations” and “There is no deadline to restore.” Manus had announced it was joining Meta on December 29, 2025.
Download your Manus site's code
Manus gives you the code 2 ways:
- Download. The Code Control doc: “you can download the entire codebase for your application at any time. This gives you a complete copy of all the frontend and backend files.”
- GitHub. Manus's GitHub integration can “export your Manus project's code to a new, private GitHub repository,” then keeps Manus and the repository's main branch in sync.
Manus doesn't say what format the download comes in, which framework the code uses, or how to move the site's database. The custom domain article's summary line adds: “Free users can request a code package for self-deployment.” Manus's help says you own what you make: “You own all content you create with Manus — including websites.”
Publishing a Manus site elsewhere: one HTML file or a full project
What you can move depends on what Manus built.
- A full project. A site with logins, a database, AI features, or payments needs a host that runs its backend, as Google Cloud Run does for Manus. Manus says you can host the code “on any server or platform of your choice,” but doesn't say what that server needs.
- A folder of static files. HTML, CSS, scripts, and images with no backend can go on a static host. Netlify Drop alternatives compares hosts on forms, stats, and domains.
- One page. A landing page, a portfolio, or a menu with no logins or database can become one HTML file. Free HTML hosting compared lists hosts for a single file. On Convika Free, the visit stats come with the page, and you add a form that stores entries from the page's screen with Add a form to my page. Convika takes one
.htmlor.htmfile up to 2 MB, or pasted code, and runs no backend or database.
Publish a Manus landing page as one HTML file
If the site is one page with no logins, database, or payments, it can go online for free as a page. Convika publishes one HTML file per page, so a Manus project needs rewriting as one file first. If the site needs its backend, keep it on Manus.
1. Make a copy in Manus, then ask it for one HTML file
Don't ask for this in the project itself: Manus edits the project's own code, so the rewrite would replace the site you have. Make a copy first. Manus's Make a Copy doc: in your Library, click the three-dot menu on the project's card and select Make a Copy. Changes in the copy “will not affect the original project,” and the copy starts unpublished. In the copy, send Manus this message. The rewrite is an edit, so it uses credits.
Rewrite the home page as one HTML file named convika-page.html, in the project's top folder.
Write it from <!DOCTYPE html> to </html>, with no build step.
Put the CSS in a <style> tag and the JavaScript in <script> tags. No npm, no TypeScript.
Load any library from an https:// CDN. Remove every login, database call, and API key.
Remove the signup form, and put <div data-convika-form></div> where it was.
Then download the copy's code. Of all the files in it, convika-page.html is the only one you need. If Manus says the page can't work without its backend, the site needs a host that runs a server, so keep it on Manus.
2. Run it in your browser
Open the free HTML viewer, click Choose an .html file, and pick convika-page.html. Click Phone to see it at phone width. The file opens in your browser and isn't uploaded. If a part that used the backend now does nothing, that part needs a server, and that site belongs on a host that runs one.
3. Get a preview link
Open the free publish-HTML tool, click Choose a file, pick convika-page.html, and click Get my preview link. The link works for 3 minutes, with scripts and forms turned off, and needs no account.
4. Keep the page, add the form, and publish
Click Keep this page — free, no card and sign up. On the page's screen, click Add a form to my page, choose the fields, and click Add form to my page; Convika puts the form where the data-convika-form line is, as a new preview version. Then click Publish page. Under Who can open this page?, choose Public and click Next. The first time, click Publish free. The page goes live at an address like yourpage.convika.page, with the Convika bar at the bottom. To change it later and keep the link, see how to update a page without changing its URL.
Where a Manus site can go
| Host | What it runs | Custom domain | To keep a small site up |
|---|---|---|---|
| Manus, on manus.space | The frontend, backend, and database Manus built, on Google Cloud Run | A manus.space subdomain you pick on paid plans | The free monthly allowance: $10 of cloud, $1 of AI, $1 of API |
| Manus, on your own domain | The same | Yes, on paid plans | “an active Manus subscription,” from $20 a month |
| Cloudflare Workers Free | Static files, “free and unlimited,” and server code as a Worker, 100,000 requests a day (pricing) | Only on a domain whose nameservers Cloudflare runs | $0 on Cloudflare's free plan |
| Netlify Free | Static files and functions, from 300 credits a month (credits) | “Add Custom domains with SSL” (pricing) | $0 until the 300 credits run out; then every project pauses |
| Vercel Hobby | Static files and functions: the first 1,000,000 function invocations a month (Hobby) | 50 a project | $0, for “non-commercial, personal use only” |
| Convika Free | One HTML file a page, with a form that keeps entries and visit stats; no backend | 1 custom subdomain, such as www.yourbrand.com | No credit card: 1 published page and 10,000 page views a month, with the Convika bar |

Frequently asked questions
Is Manus website hosting free?
Yes, to keep a site up on a manus.space address, within Manus's free monthly allowance of $10 for cloud, $1 for AI, and $1 for API use. Manus's help center says those sites “can remain online without an active Manus subscription.” Past the allowance, Manus asks you to top up your WebDev usage balance. Manus doesn't say whether its Free plan can publish a site: its membership pricing article, updated October 23, 2026 and read on November 3, 2026, lists “Professional Website Deployment” under Pro, not under Free. A custom domain needs an active Manus subscription.
How much does it cost to host a website on Manus?
Manus's Usage and Pricing doc estimates a creator landing page with 1k to 5k visits a month at about $6 of cloud use, which its table totals as “Subscription only,” and a marketing site with 10k to 50k visits at “Subscription + $24.” Manus's plans start at $20 a month for Pro, and Manus Free is $0 a month.
Does Manus use credits to host my website?
No. Manus's credits article, updated November 2, 2026, says “Completed tasks and the storage or deployment of their outputs do not consume any credits.” Credits pay for building and editing; a live site's hosting, database, AI features, and API calls come out of the Manus WebDev usage balance.
Can I use a custom domain on Manus?
Yes, on a paid Manus plan. Manus's help center says “Manus is able to provide comprehensive support for custom domain connections if you are a paid user,” and a custom-domain site “will go offline” if the subscription ends. You can buy a domain inside Manus, where “domain name purchases are non-refundable at the moment,” or connect one from a registrar such as GoDaddy or Namecheap.
Why is my Manus website not working?
Manus names 5 causes: the AI and integrations allowance is used up (a billing banner), the cloud hosting allowance is used up (“Site unavailable due to unpaid billing”), a moderation block (“This site has been blocked.”), a private site opened with the wrong account, or a site that was never published, has an unverified domain, or was deleted (a 404). A manus.computer link is a temporary test link that stops working on its own.
Can I download my Manus website's code?
Yes. Manus's Code Control doc says “you can download the entire codebase for your application at any time,” with “all the frontend and backend files.” You can also export it to a new private GitHub repository. Manus doesn't say what format the download comes in or which framework the code uses.
Can I host a Manus website somewhere else?
Yes, with the downloaded code. A site with a backend or database needs a host that runs a server, as Google Cloud Run does for Manus. A site of static files can go on a static host. A one-page site can become one HTML file and go on Convika Free, with a form that keeps entries and visit stats.
What happens to my Manus website if I cancel my subscription?
A site on a manus.space address stays up. Manus's billing article says its running costs keep using the free WebDev allowance or your usage balance, and you top up if the balance runs out. A site on your own domain goes offline: “If your subscription ends, the custom-domain website will go offline.”
What kinds of websites can Manus build?
Manus's web app page says “Build anything — Landing pages, SaaS dashboards, or full web apps with logins and databases,” and lists templates such as a photographer portfolio, a podcast website, a clinic website, online booking, a merch store, and a sales CRM. Its sites can include AI features such as chatbots and image generation, paid from the Manus AI allowance.
Can I remove the “Made with Manus” badge?
Yes. Manus's help center, updated September 3, 2026, says to click the website preview, click the Settings icon in the preview toolbar, scroll to Advanced, and turn on Hide Manus badge. Manus doesn't say which plans can.
