Free HTML hosting compared (2026)
Quick answer
For one HTML file, Cloudflare Drop, Netlify Drop, ship.page, and miinideck give a free link with no sign-up, but each link expires or stays locked until you claim it. With a free account, Netlify and Convika also store form entries, and Convika Free publishes 1 page with 10,000 views a month and 90 days of stats.
Free plan: no credit card, 1 published page, 50 form entries a month.

You have one HTML file, maybe from ChatGPT, Claude, or your own editor, and you want a public link to it without paying. 11 hosts offer that in some form. They differ on 4 things you notice later: whether you need an account, how long the link lasts, whether the page can use your own domain, and whether the form on the page keeps what people type.
Every fact below comes from the host's own pricing page, docs, or help center, read on October 20, 2026. Where a host's pages don't say something, the table says "Not stated" instead of guessing. Prices are in US dollars. Free plans change often, so check the host's page before you launch.

Hosts that need no sign-up
4 hosts give you a public link before you make an account. Each one limits how long that link lasts or who can open it.
- Cloudflare Drop takes a folder, a
.zip, or a single.htmlfile "with any filename" and serves it as the home page at aworkers.devaddress. Claim the deployment within 60 minutes to keep it. - Netlify Drop takes "a folder, zip file, or single HTML file." Without an account, Netlify's quickstart says "your project URL is protected with a temporary password until you claim it," so the people you send it to can't open it yet.
- ship.page takes an HTML file up to 10 MB with "No account, no card." Anonymous drops live 30 days, or 90 days once you make a free account. Pro, at $4 a month, keeps drops up for good.
- miinideck takes one file up to 3 MB without an account, and that link "self-destructs after 7 days." Its links are hidden from search engines by default.
Convika's upload box also works without an account. Its link lasts 3 minutes and runs no scripts or forms, so it shows how the page looks, not how it works. Sign up from the box to keep the page. Once you publish it, its scripts run.
Free hosting on your own domain
5 hosts here let a free page use a domain you already own:
- GitHub Pages takes a subdomain such as
www.example.comor a bareexample.com, per GitHub's custom domain docs. - Cloudflare Pages takes up to 100 custom domains per project on the Free plan (limits).
- Netlify lists "Custom domains with SSL" on Free (pricing).
- Vercel Hobby allows 50 domains per project (limits), but only for non-commercial personal use.
- Convika connects 1 subdomain, such as
www.yourbrand.comorgo.yourbrand.com, on Free. A bareyourbrand.comisn't supported.
Tiiny Host, Neocities, Static.app, miinideck, and HTML Pub start custom domains on a paid plan, from $5 to $14.99 a month.
One HTML file or a folder
A page made by ChatGPT, Claude, or Gemini is usually one HTML file with its CSS and JavaScript inside. Any host here takes that file. The differences start when the page needs other files next to it.
- A folder or a zip suits a site with several pages, images, or a build step. Netlify Drop, Cloudflare Drop and Pages, Vercel Drop, ship.page, Tiiny Host, and Static.app take one. GitHub Pages takes the files you put in a repository.
- One file only is how Convika works: one
.htmlor.htmfile of up to 2 MB, or code you paste. Convika stores no separate image, sound, or font files, so they go in by fullhttps://link to another host or inside the file. When a tag in the file, such as<img src="logo.png">, points to a file on your computer, the upload screen lists it so you can fix it first. A file that a script loads isn't listed. - A folder with no
index.htmlis a problem on most hosts. GitHub Pages looks for anindex.html,index.md, orREADME.mdas the entry file, and Netlify suggests adding anindex.htmlif the site doesn't show up. Vercel Drop asks you which page loads at the root.
If your HTML points to style.css and script.js, the simplest fix for a single-file host is to ask the AI: "Put all the CSS and JavaScript inside one HTML file."
Scripts and forms on a static host
Every host here runs the JavaScript in your file in the visitor's browser. Convika also sends a security policy with each page: a script can't call other sites with fetch, XMLHttpRequest, or a WebSocket (Pro and the 1-year pass add the analytics tools Convika supports), can't use eval, and the page can't run inside another site's frame. GitHub Pages and Netlify add none of those limits on their own. So a quiz, a calculator, or a one-file game that needs none of them runs on Convika as it does there, while a game whose leaderboard runs on its own server, or a Unity or Godot build, needs one of the others. What a static host can't do on its own is keep what a visitor types into a form, because a form needs a server to send the entry to.
- Netlify stores entries for free: add
data-netlify="true"to the form and turn on form detection, per its forms docs. Its credit docs say the forms service "is free and unlimited for all credit-based plans." - Convika adds a form from the dashboard with Add a form to my page. On Free it shows 50 entries a month, emails you each one, and exports them as a CSV. Entries past that are kept and shown on Pro. The form that came in your HTML file sends entries wherever its
actionpoints; only a form added in the dashboard keeps them in Convika. - Cloudflare Pages has a Static Forms plugin that hands each submission to code you write, such as code that saves it to KV.
- Tiiny Host and miinideck offer an email gate: the visitor types an email address before the page opens. That collects addresses, but it isn't a form on your page.
- GitHub Pages, Vercel, Neocities, and ship.page don't mention a form service on the pages read for this comparison. A form there needs an outside service, such as Formspree.
When you hit the free limit
Free plans end in different ways. Know which one you're on before you share the link widely.
- Netlify pauses every project on the account when the 300 monthly credits run out, and visitors see "Site not available" until the next billing cycle. A production deploy costs 15 credits and bandwidth costs 20 per GB, per its pricing page.
- Tiiny Host allows 5,000 visits and 5 GB of bandwidth a month on Free, and may remove a free account, with its links, after 3 months without a log-in (help center).
- Vercel Hobby pauses a feature you've used up for 30 days in most cases, per its Hobby plan docs.
- GitHub Pages has a soft limit of 100 GB of bandwidth a month and may rate-limit a site (limits).
- ship.page and miinideck end the link on a date: 30 or 90 days on ship.page, 7 days on miinideck unless it's your 1 permanent link.
- Convika includes 10,000 page views a month on Free. Once a month's views reach that, editing and analytics pause, and 7 days later the pages stop until the month ends or you upgrade (pricing). In a workspace created before October 23, 2026 (Japan time), this starts on November 1, 2026.
Convika: one file, a form, and visitor stats
Drop your HTML file in the box above, or paste the code, to see the page online for 3 minutes. Click Keep this page — free, no card and sign up, and the page moves into your account. From the dashboard, click Publish. The first time you publish, pick Free under Choose how to publish your page, then click Publish. The page goes live at an address like yourpage.convika.page, with its scripts running.
Free hosts 1 published page and includes 10,000 page views a month across them. Add a form to my page puts in a form that stores entries, and the dashboard shows where visitors came from for the last 90 days. Free includes 1 custom subdomain and a small Convika bar at the bottom of each page. Pro, at $12 a month, removes the bar and can put a password on a page. Section 7 of the terms allows commercial use on every plan, Free included.
Not a fit for: a site with many files, a zip, or a bare domain like yourbrand.com. Use Netlify, Cloudflare Pages, or GitHub Pages for those.
Which one to pick
- A link in the next minute, no account: Cloudflare Drop, then claim it within 60 minutes. ship.page if the link only needs to last 30 days.
- A free page that keeps form entries: Netlify, if you can live with the credit pause, or Convika, if you also want to count visits and see which sites sent them.
- Your own bare domain, a big site, and no form: GitHub Pages or Cloudflare Pages. GitHub Pages isn't for running a business or a store.
- A page only a few people should see: miinideck hides links from search by default. Convika's Private link (Pro or pass) keeps a page out of search results and out of Convika's gallery; a free Public page may show up in both.
- A game made with AI: How to publish an HTML game made with ChatGPT compares itch.io, GitHub Pages, Netlify Drop, CodePen, and Convika for that job.
- A landing page with a signup form on your domain: Free landing page hosting with a form and your own domain goes deeper on forms and domains.

GitHub Pages, Neocities, and Cloudflare Pages take it too, as a file in your repository or site. Convika takes one .html file of up to 2 MB, or pasted code, and its Free plan includes 10,000 page views a month.
Is there free HTML hosting without registration?
Yes, for a while. Cloudflare Drop keeps a page only if you claim it within 60 minutes, ship.page keeps one for 30 days, and miinideck for 7 days, all without an account. Netlify Drop works without an account too, but the link has a temporary password until you sign in to claim it.
