Carrd alternatives for landing pages you generate with AI

Short answer

If ChatGPT, Claude, or Gemini already wrote your landing page as HTML, Carrd makes you rebuild it in its editor, because Carrd has no HTML upload. A host that takes the file as it is gets you online faster: Convika publishes it, adds a form that stores entries, and shows where visitors came from, free for 10 pages. If you're building from scratch and want the cheapest paid plan with a custom domain and forms, Carrd Pro Standard at $19 a year is hard to beat.

Publish my HTML page free

Free plan: no credit card, 10 pages, 50 form entries a month.

Carrd is the cheap, fast way to build a one-page site in a visual editor. If your page already exists as HTML that ChatGPT, Claude, or Gemini wrote, it's the wrong starting point: Carrd can't take that file, so you'd rebuild the page block by block. This page compares Carrd's plans with 4 alternatives on what an AI-made landing page needs: taking the HTML as it is, a form that keeps entries, visitor stats, and a custom domain.

Prices and features come from each vendor's own pages and docs, checked on October 4, 2026. Prices are in US dollars.

When Carrd is the right pick

  • You're building from scratch and like a visual editor. Carrd's editor is quick to learn, and the free plan covers 3 sites.
  • You want the cheapest paid plan with a custom domain. Pro Standard costs $19 a year for 10 sites with custom domains, forms, embeds, and analytics. Convika Pro costs $12 a month.
  • Your form only needs to email you or add people to a newsletter. Carrd's contact form sends each message to your account email, and its signup form sends names and emails to tools such as Mailchimp, Kit, and Brevo.

When it isn't

  • The page already exists as HTML. Carrd's docs list no way to upload or import an HTML file. On Pro Standard, the Embed element takes custom HTML, CSS, and JavaScript, but it's one element inside a Carrd page, not a way to host your file.
  • You need to keep the entries. Each Carrd form type sends its data somewhere else: your email, an email tool, or, on Pro Plus at $49 a year, Zapier, Make, n8n, Airtable, or a URL. Carrd's form docs describe no place inside Carrd to view or export past entries.
  • You want to know where visitors came from. Carrd launched its own analytics on October 2, 2026. It's in beta and, according to Carrd's docs, “only tracks Views.” For sources, Carrd connects to Google Analytics, Plausible, Cloudflare Web Analytics, and others.

Each option in a paragraph

Carrd

Carrd builds one-page sites in its own editor. Free gives you 3 sites on .carrd.co addresses with up to 50 elements each and “Made with Carrd” in the footer. Pro Lite, at $9 a year, removes the branding and adds addresses like .crd.co, but no custom domain, forms, or embeds. Pro Standard, at $19 a year for 10 sites, adds custom domains, forms, embeds, and Carrd Analytics. Pro Plus, at $49 a year for 25 sites, adds forms that send data to automation tools or a URL, site downloads, and password protection.

Better than the others at: price. No other paid plan here comes close to $19 a year.

Framer

Framer is a visual site builder with an AI that drafts pages, and it now works with Claude Code, Cursor, and Codex over MCP. The free plan publishes to a framer.app address with a “Made in Framer” banner, and Framer calls it “ideal for non-commercial use.” A custom domain starts with the Basic plan at $10 a month billed yearly, priced per site. Forms send submissions to email, Google Sheets, or a webhook, and analytics are built in, with 30 days of history on Basic. To use code your AI wrote, you'd paste it into an Embed component inside a Framer page.

Better than the others at: design control, multi-page sites, and a CMS.

Dorik

Dorik's AI writes a whole site, “pages, copy, images,” from a prompt. Its pricing page offers a 7-day trial rather than a free plan; Personal, with 1 custom domain and 25 pages, costs $29 a month, or $20.75 a month billed yearly. Forms send submissions to Mailchimp, Zapier, or your CRM, and cookie-free analytics start when you publish. Dorik imports only its own JSON files, not HTML.

Better than the others at: generating a multi-page site and its copy in one go.

Lovable

Lovable builds web apps from a prompt. The free plan gives 5 build credits a day, up to 30 a month, and publishes to a lovable.app address with an “Edit with Lovable” badge. Custom domains need a paid plan, starting with Pro at $25 a month. There's no form feature as such: you ask Lovable to build one on Lovable Cloud, its built-in backend. Analytics start when you publish, but they don't read UTM parameters. You can attach a file or point it at a site to recreate, but it rebuilds the page rather than hosting your HTML as it is.

Better than the others at: pages that grow into an app with logins and a database.

Convika

Convika hosts landing pages that AI writes and keeps what happens on them. Click Upload an HTML file in the dashboard, drop the file or paste the code, and click Create my preview; Claude, Claude Code, or Codex can also save the page directly over MCP. Add a form to my page puts a form on the page that stores every entry in the dashboard, with CSV and JSON export. The analytics screen shows visits, referrers, devices, countries, and which buttons people click. Free includes 10 pages, 10,000 pageviews a month, 50 form entries a month, and 1 custom subdomain, with a small “Powered by Convika” badge. Pro costs $12 a month after a 14-day free trial, or $108 a year.

Weaker than the others at: visual editing and price. There's no drag-and-drop editor; you change the page with Improve with AI in the dashboard or by asking Claude. Custom domains must be subdomains like www, not a bare yourbrand.com. Convika doesn't email you each form entry. And two months of Pro cost more than a year of Carrd Pro Standard.

Which one to pick

  • You're building a simple page from scratch and want to pay as little as possible: Carrd Pro Standard.
  • You want a polished multi-page site and will design it yourself: Framer.
  • You want an AI to write the whole site for you: Dorik, or Lovable if it may grow into an app.
  • Your AI already wrote the page, and you want it online with a form that keeps entries and stats that show sources, free: Convika.

Move a Carrd page to Convika

Carrd doesn't hand you a file you can upload elsewhere unless you're on Pro Plus, so the quickest route is to have your AI recreate the page:

  1. Copy the text from your Carrd page and take a screenshot of it.
  2. Ask your AI: “Recreate this page as one HTML file with the CSS inline. Use these image links: … Replace the form with <div data-convika-form></div>.” Images need full https:// links.
  3. In Convika's dashboard, click Upload an HTML file, paste or drop the result, and click Create my preview.
  4. On the page's dashboard screen, click Add a form to my page, pick the fields, and send a test entry from the preview. Preview entries are checked but not saved.
  5. Click Publish. To keep your domain, click Manage domains, add a subdomain such as www.yourbrand.com, and add the CNAME and TXT records Convika shows at your domain company. If your Carrd site uses a bare domain like yourbrand.com, redirect it to the www address at your domain company, if it offers forwarding.

Frequently asked questions

What is the best Carrd alternative for AI-generated landing pages?

It depends on where the page comes from. If ChatGPT, Claude, or Gemini already wrote it as HTML, use a host that takes the file as it is: Convika adds a form that stores entries and visitor stats, free for 10 pages. If you'd rather build in a visual editor, Framer gives more design control, and Dorik and Lovable generate the page for you inside their own builders.

Can I upload HTML to Carrd?

No. Carrd's docs list no HTML upload or import. On Pro Standard and above, the Embed element accepts custom HTML, CSS, and JavaScript inside a Carrd page, but a whole page your AI wrote has to be rebuilt in Carrd's editor.

Does Carrd's free plan allow a custom domain?

No. Free sites use a .carrd.co address. Custom domains start with Pro Standard, at $19 a year. Pro Lite, at $9 a year, adds addresses like .crd.co but no custom domain.

Do Carrd forms store submissions?

Carrd's docs describe forms that send each entry on: contact forms to your email, signup forms to an email tool such as Mailchimp or Kit, and Pro Plus forms to tools such as Zapier, Airtable, or a URL. They describe no place inside Carrd to view stored entries. Forms need Pro Standard or above.

Is Carrd cheaper than Convika?

For a paid plan, yes. Carrd Pro Standard costs $19 a year; Convika Pro costs $12 a month. Convika's Free plan includes a custom subdomain, a form that stores 50 entries a month, and visitor stats, which on Carrd start with Pro Standard.

Publish the page your AI already wrote

Upload the HTML as it is. Convika hosts it, keeps the form entries, and shows where visitors came from.

Free plan: no credit card, 10 pages, 50 form entries a month.
