Is Lovable free? What the Free plan includes in 2026

Short answer

Yes. Lovable's Free plan gives you 5 build credits a day, up to 30 a month, and publishes your project to a lovable.app address that anyone with the link can open. Connecting your own domain and hiding the “Edit with Lovable” badge need a paid plan, starting with Pro at $25 a month. If what you built is a landing or waitlist page, Convika's free rebuild tool turns the lovable.app link into a new page in the same colors and fonts, and Convika's Free plan hosts that page on your own subdomain, such as www, with commercial use allowed, a form that keeps signups, and 90 days of visitor stats. You can also describe the page in Convika's dashboard instead.

Create my landing page free

Free plan: no credit card, 10 pages, 1 custom subdomain.

Lovable's FAQ answers the question in its first line: “Yes. On the Free plan you can build and publish without paying.” What the Free plan limits is how much you build each day, the address your project goes live on, and the badge it carries there.

This page covers each of those limits, and what it takes to put a page you made on Lovable on your own domain. Each fact comes from Lovable's pricing page, docs, and terms, read on October 12, 2026. Prices are in US dollars.

What Lovable's Free plan includes

From Lovable's subscription plans and pricing pages:

What you getLovable FreeLovable Pro
Price$0From $25 a month, or $250 a year

Unused creditsDaily credits expire at the end of the dayDaily credits expire; monthly credits roll over, and you can buy top-ups

Custom domainNoYes
“Edit with Lovable” badgeShown on your published siteYou can hide it
Git sync to GitHub, GitLab, or BitbucketYesYes
Edit code in Lovable, or download a .zipNoYes

Free and Pro also get a daily chat allowance and 2 monthly grants: 20 Cloud credits for the built-in backend, and 4 credits for AI features inside your app.

How far 30 credits go

Lovable's credits docs price each message by the work it does: “Cost depends on the complexity of the request and the work completed.” They give these examples and call them illustrative:

What you ask LovableCredits used
“Make the button gray”0.50
“Remove the footer”0.90
“Add authentication”1.20
“Build a landing page with images”2.00

At those rates, a day's 5 credits build 2 landing pages and leave 1 credit for changes. Chat messages draw on the daily chat allowance first and then on your build credits, and each message in Plan mode costs 1 credit.

If you build every day, the monthly cap runs out first. Lovable's own example: “on Free, you receive daily build credits for the first 6 days each month (6 × 5 = 30), then none until the next month starts.” Daily credits refresh at 00:00 UTC and don't roll over. When they run out, “Building stops until credits are available,” and “Your published site stays live, and its pages keep serving.”

Publishing on the Free plan

Lovable publishes for free. Its FAQ says “publishing to a lovable.app URL is free on all plans,” and its publishing docs say “By default, your app is published to [url-subdomain].lovable.app.”

  • Each publish is a snapshot. “Only the current version is deployed, and later changes are not automatically pushed live.” To put new changes live, click Publish, then Publish changes.
  • Anyone with the link can open it. On Free and Pro, “Anyone with the link can visit your published app,” and you can't restrict who sees it. Choosing the audience starts on Business.

Custom domains need a paid plan

Lovable's custom domain docs say: “Custom domains are available on paid plans.” The cheapest one is Lovable Pro, from $25 a month or $250 a year. You can buy a domain through Lovable or connect one you already own, either the root domain, such as yourdomain.com, or a subdomain, such as blog.yourdomain.com.

If you downgrade later, “Connected domains keep serving your published app.” What stops is adding more: “After a downgrade to Free, you can't buy domains or connect domains to projects” until you upgrade again.

The “Edit with Lovable” badge

A published Free project shows an Edit with Lovable badge. Hiding it takes a paid plan. Lovable's FAQ answers “Yes, on paid plans” and puts the switch, Hide Lovable badge, in Project settings → Publishing. Turn it on, and the badge leaves your live site “immediately, with no republish needed.” If you downgrade, the badge comes back on your next publish.

Do you own what you build on Lovable?

Lovable's FAQ says: “You do. Your apps, code, and the content you create with Lovable are yours, subject to third-party rights such as open-source licenses. You can modify them, use them commercially, and host them wherever you choose.” Its terms, last updated August 28, 2026, put it this way: “you own your Customer Data, including the applications, websites, or other projects you build using the Services.”

You can take the code with you on the Free plan: Lovable's hosting docs say Git sync to GitHub, GitLab, or Bitbucket is “available on all plans.” Editing code in Lovable's editor and downloading it as a .zip start on Pro.

Your own domain for a landing page, free: Convika

Convika hosts landing pages, one HTML page each, with the form and the visitor stats built in. For a landing or waitlist page you built on Lovable, Convika's Free plan includes:

  • Your own subdomain, such as www.yourbrand.com or waitlist.yourbrand.com, with the SSL certificate issued for you. The Free plan connects 1.
  • Commercial use on every plan, Free included, under section 7 of the terms. That covers a client's page you build, host, and bill for.
  • A form that keeps the signups. Click Add a form to my page, and Convika adds a form that stores each entry, emails it to you, and exports to CSV. Ways to make a page's form save entries compares it with other form services.
  • 90 days of visitor stats: visits, referrers, UTM campaigns, devices, countries, and button clicks.
  • AI clients that publish for you. Claude, Claude Code, and Codex connect to Convika's MCP server and sign in to your account with OAuth, so you never paste a deploy token or API key into the chat. They can read the page's visits and form entries back to you, too.

3 ways to get the page onto Convika

  1. Rebuild it from the lovable.app link. Paste the link into the free rebuild tool and click Rebuild my page. You don't need an account. Convika reads the page, keeps its colors and fonts, writes a new version from its text, and lists what it changed and why. In a test on October 12, 2026, on a waitlist template from Lovable's Discover page, a page Lovable draws entirely with JavaScript, the tool read the page and returned a private preview in about a minute, with 5 changes listed. Click Keep this page to sign up free and move the page into your account, then Add a form to my page, then Publish.
  2. Describe it in the dashboard. Sign up free, click Create with AI, and describe the page, or paste a link to a page it should start from. A new page costs 1 AI credit on the default model, and Free accounts start with 10.
  3. Upload one HTML file. If ChatGPT or Claude wrote the page as a single HTML file, click Upload an HTML file in the dashboard and add the .html or .htm file, up to 2 MB, or paste its code. Uploading uses no AI credits. The free HTML publishing tool shows you a preview before you sign up.

The Free plan includes 10 pages, with a small “Powered by Convika” badge. Pro, at $12 a month after a 14-day free trial, removes the badge and the monthly cap on form entries. How to create a waitlist landing page walks through the form and the tagged links in detail.

Where Lovable fits better: an app with sign-ins, a database, or several screens. Convika hosts one HTML page per site, the rebuild is a new page written from your page's text, colors, and fonts rather than a copy, and custom domains are subdomains such as www.

Which one to pick

  • An app with sign-ins, a database, or several screens: Lovable. The Free plan is enough to try it at 5 credits a day; your own domain starts with Lovable Pro.
  • A landing or waitlist page on your own domain, with no monthly fee: Convika's Free plan. Rebuild the page from its lovable.app link, keep the signups in Convika's form, and see which links bring visitors.
  • A multi-page site you lay out yourself on a design canvas: Framer, whose Free plan publishes on a framer.app address.

Frequently asked questions

Is Lovable free?

Yes. On Lovable's Free plan you can build and publish without paying: you get 5 build credits a day, up to 30 a month, and your project goes live on a lovable.app address. Your own domain, hiding the “Edit with Lovable” badge, and editing code in Lovable's editor need a paid plan, starting with Lovable Pro at $25 a month.

Is Lovable free forever?

Lovable's pricing page and docs give the Free plan no end date. What's limited is use: 5 build credits a day, capped at 30 a calendar month. Use 5 a day and you reach the cap on day 6, then build nothing until the 1st of the next month. Your published site keeps serving the whole time.

How many credits does Lovable's free plan give?

5 build credits a day, up to 30 a month, plus a daily chat allowance and monthly grants of 20 Cloud credits for the built-in backend and 4 credits for AI features in your app. Daily credits expire at the end of each day. Lovable's illustrative examples put a button color change at 0.50 credits and a landing page with images at 2.00.

Does Lovable publish websites for free?

Yes. Publishing to a lovable.app address is free on every Lovable plan, and anyone with the link can open the site. Each publish is a snapshot: later edits go live when you click Publish, then Publish changes.

Can I use a custom domain on Lovable's free plan?

No. Lovable's docs say “Custom domains are available on paid plans.” The cheapest plan that connects one is Lovable Pro, from $25 a month. A domain you connected while paying keeps serving after a downgrade, but the Free plan can't connect new ones.

How much does a custom domain cost on Lovable?

Lovable Pro starts at $25 a month, or $250 a year, and includes custom domains. The domain itself is separate: register one through Lovable, or connect one you already own from another provider.

How do I remove the “Edit with Lovable” badge?

Upgrade to a paid plan, open Project settings → Publishing, and turn on Hide Lovable badge. Lovable's FAQ says the badge leaves your live site immediately, with no republish needed. On the Free plan, the badge stays.

Do I own what I build on Lovable?

Lovable's FAQ says: “You do. Your apps, code, and the content you create with Lovable are yours, subject to third-party rights such as open-source licenses. You can modify them, use them commercially, and host them wherever you choose.” Git sync to GitHub, GitLab, or Bitbucket works on every plan, Free included; editing code in Lovable's editor and downloading a .zip take a paid plan.

Is there a free way to put a Lovable landing page on my own domain?

Yes, with Convika's Free plan. Paste the lovable.app link into Convika's free rebuild tool, with no signup: it reads the page and writes a new version in the same colors and fonts as a private preview. Keep it on the Free plan, add a form, and connect 1 custom subdomain, such as www.yourbrand.com. The Free plan allows commercial use and shows 90 days of visitor stats.

Put your landing page on your own domain for free

Rebuild it from your lovable.app link, or describe it to Convika's AI. Convika hosts it on your subdomain, keeps the signups, and shows where visitors came from.
